*SNORT*. People pay a lot of money to live in tents, to camp out with no electricity or running water. For God’s sake, our cabin in Maine has no running water - we lug it up from the lake and have graduated from an outhouse to a composting toilet - and we’ve spent every summer there for 4 generations now. During the Depression, hundreds of families lived in campgrounds while parents were on the move looking for work. Is it ideal? Is it a place you want your family to live indefinitely? Of course not. How about helping the family obtain some basic housing instead of taking the kids away?
The last thing that the clueless CPS workers want is a happy intact family.
Their jobs DEPEND on taking children away.
