Democrats wave Franken as trophy over limping GOP

WASHINGTON – Turns out that not-funny senator bit was an act. "I'm an extremely good-looking person," satirist-turned-senator Al Franken cracked as photographers snapped his picture Tuesday after he took the oath of office. Funny, ha-ha. But the Senate can be funny-odd, too, not to mention unforgiving. Even as some Democrats insisted that Franken's vote as the 60th senator in their party could make it harder, not easier, to pass bills, they rewarded the man who delivered the alleged burden of a supermajority with an illustrious debut.

At least 50% of the GOP is Democrat. Both parties need to be sent packing. Throw the bums out.

I saw a clip of Lamar Alexander grinning and shaking Frankenstein’s hand after being sworn in by Crazy Joe. I understand the collegiality aspect of the place but man, why bother shaking this loathesome person’s hand? And, why even be there for the swearing in?

I don’t care.

I don’t f’g care.

My dog died today and I dug her grave and put her in it.
If I can find a decent apartment where there are no drug wars I might move out from under this roof I share with the bank, the government, two spoiled brats and this banshee I’m married to.

She thinks I’m supposed to be the breadwinner.

Go figure.

That headline really says how low the Democrat Party has sunk, if they are waving Al Franken as a tropy.

If Al Franken can be a US Senator, then the Al’s lib buddies should shut up and let Sarah Palin become President of the United States?

They’ve trashed Palin as shallow. Can there be anything shallower than Al Franken?

The millstone thing: I think he needs to become the poster boy. If the Left can do it to Palin, why can’t we apply Saul Alinsky’s rule number 12 to this clown? Everything he says, does, votes, eats, visits, meets with should be scrutinized and ridiculed. Every time he speaks on the floor (if speech is what you call it), CSPAN should be compared to what the Congressional Record says the next day to make sure he’s not got a literate employee to go correct the record and take out his mistakes and gaffes, or “expand his remarks” to make him sound coherent. He is a goof. His wife dresses and grooms herself like a frump — even by Beltway standards. There is really a lot of potential there at which to take aim. Oh, and FR should have a new rule: every time he is mentioned in a story, someone has to post the picture of him in the diaper.

If Franken is the trophy, it must not have been much of a contest.

I can’t wait for the Diane Feinstein/Al Franken amendment to the healthcare bill: the Fein-franken-stein amendment.
