Overall, 52% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance so far. That, too, is a new low for the President. Forty-seen percent (47%) now disapprove.
and you can bet those are the massaged figures, the real ones are a lot lot worse.
It will be interesting to see how Obama’s overseas trip affects his ratings. They usually go up when he is abroad acting Presidential. If they stay down, he is getting in deep trouble, especially with cap and trade and healthcare next on the agenda, which are polarizing issues.
So...
He’s not 0bama, he’s -3bama now.
IF we should ever be rid of -3Bama, with emphasis on the IF, I shudder to think of what it will take to remove the stains (whatever will come out) and cumulative damage (whatever is repairable).
I guess it’s time for Newsweek, TIME, CNN, the NYT, Wash Po and NBC to counter with polls showing his “approval rating” at 64%.
“Overall, 52% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the Presidents performance so far. That, too, is a new low for the President. Forty-seen percent (47%) now disapprove.”
This is an interesting development, as it’s now broken to inside the difference on Election Day. Yes, he’s still above 50%, but it’s still a crossing of a threshold, as it reflects a net drop in overall approval which, at least on a representative basis, shows some voters are regretting their decision.
Even some of the sheeple are awakening from their kool-aid - induced stupor.
Not low enough in my book.....in case you wanted to know.
52% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the Presidents performance so far”
This is good news. But that approval number needs to dip below 50%....
Does anyone know where President Bush was at this point into his Presidency?
