When it was over, he had tears running down his face as did I. To think of all of those brave men who gave their lives to keep that flag up.... and then to think about the idiots in Washington.... it’s very saddening.
I don’t know how absolutely true the story at the above link is, but it’s a good story nonetheless and paints a picture of how it might have been during our country’s birth.
