People get behind REAL movements for REAL change that achieve REAL goals that are MEANINGFUL. You gotta keep taking it to the next level to build momentum, but first... You gotta know where your going. The lower turn-out was predictable, given the date chosen for the second round of tea parties. It's July, for goodness sake. Here in the DFW area, it was over 100 degrees on July 4th.

At the last minute, my wife and I reluctantly decided not to put our kids through that, yesterday. We missed one of the biggest tea parties in the nation yesterday, and it was right down the street from us.

I don't think enthusiasm for the Tea Party movement has waned. Organizers across the country simply picked a terrible day to hold this latest round.
