Second Jacko autopsy stuns family
The Sun ^ | 1 July 09 | VIRGINIA WHEELER

THE Jackson family were reeling last night after being given the results of a private autopsy they had demanded. Relatives had ask

ed for their own report on the singer's body after the LA Coroner's office ruled out foul play.

But the second autopsy has confirmed the findings of the first, which were revealed in The Sun on Monday.

The news was broken to Jacko's mother Katherine at her home by the coroner who conducted the private examination.

Family lawyer Brian Oxman said the findings were consistent and that the star's body bore "a number of unique and significant marks and injuries".

He told The Sun: “The second autopsy is done and the coroner came to see Katherine last night.

“Any autopsy report would note a number of unique and significant marks and injuries on the body of Michael Jackson.

“Firstly the four puncture marks on his chest from the needle. Well I’ve seen those marks on his chest — I’ve seen his body — so I know they’re there.

I don't see what should "stun" the family. They knew what he was - and that was a meal ticket and a freak to even them. A Hollywood friend once told me the whole Jackson family were "a bunch of a__holes." Sorry for the language, but I think it is apt.

Most assuredly, Tito’s three sons, as well as their deceased mother, are not.

I never met the rest of the clan.

Dead, he is probably a better meal ticket. No need to support his weirdness.

Now that the family knows there’s no one to blame for his death, it’ll be all about divvying up his estate from here on. And that’ll be a disgusting, bloody battle of greed.

For someone so rich, he couldn’t manage to get his kids adopted correctly, hire lawyers good enough to make a will that made things run more smoothly after his death, get a cardiologist that was accredited etc... So much money, so many yes men, such a twisted existence.

No wonder they's so sad. The gravy train for talentless Jacksons has come off the tracks.

Janet will be fine but a telethon will be required for the rest of 'em.

I don't care if I died destitute and never saw another dime of Michael's money, if I were his parents I would have been suing to get him an executor, and get his life straightened out.

His children have been in desperate need of a rescue for years.

Oh there will be plenty of people to blame. I predict someone will be going to jail and maybe more than one just person.

There could be a homicide charge if Propofol is found to have caused his death.

Actions and inactions of the doctor sound really suspicious to me.

I find this distasteful. The poor man is dead. Is his family thinking about him, or themselves?

Did he provide for the umbrella holder in his Will ?

I understood his Will left everything to his mother/kids with Diana Ross as backup, so to speak? At the time of his death, tho, ‘everything’ was debt .. his death helped that situation out a lot.

Definitely - I’m sure his net worth was always well into the positive; he just had too many assets he refused to sell to cover the debt. Plus, now with his music sales going through the roof and the rumored vault of unreleased music, the estate should be pretty healthy financially. If they can keep lawyers from eating it all up.

I’m not sure what was so stunning about the second autopsy - did I miss something? It sounded like “2nd autopsy results same as first - family stunned.”

I know none of the Jacksons and will not add any speculations on the character of any of them.

I think the one sure idea that will always remain fixed about Michael is that he demonstrated what many extremely great talents have done throughout history - a personality that combined the dual traits of great artistic genius with tragic character flaws. I think history will not destroy the memory of either one.

I think that given the distant history (say 20-30 years ago) of the LA Coroner’s office and all the sensational stuff (can you say O.J. Simpson?) that has happened since - they certainly do understand the scrutiny that is going to come down on this. So they did everything VERY carefully, and surprise, surprise, surprise - even a pathologist loaded to find some issue came up with a consistent interpretation.

Jackson’s family is in more of a business strategizing mode right now, trying to maximize the value of MJ’s property. Once they see the burst of revenue coming in from his music sales, post mortem, they probably won’t be so concerned about ginning up a wrongful death action.
