GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS, HOST, "THIS WEEK": You know the Senate is looking especially at this issue of capping the deductions for health care that employers and employees now get. That would be a tax increase for many families earning under $250,000, but the president said he was open to it. So that means that the tax pledge he made back in September is no longer operative?
DAVID AXELROD, WHITE HOUSE SENIOR ADVISER: Well, George, first of all, there are a lot of different formulations of that plan. The president has said in the past that he doesn't believe taxing health care benefits at any level is necessarily the best way to go here. He still believes that, but there are a number of formulations, and we'll wait and see.

Once he expires the 2003 tax cuts at the end of 2010 the federal income tax rates go back up to the higher rates of the year 2000. Every income level will be paying higher federal income tax rates.

He knows that he has only a limited amount of time before this country wakes up and makes the Iranian demonstrations look like a tiptoe through the tulips.

He isn't going to be in office at the end of 2010. The BCgate will catch up with him before that. Ever wonder why he is working at lightening speed to get as much destroyed before he gets found out?
Well, he wouldn’t be the first president to do so, would he?
It’s ok, he’s “The One”, so he can do or say anything and the SRM will carry his water.
The bad news is, what Obama wants won’t work, and Americans will suffer for this. The poor won’t be hurt as badly as the middle class, which I believe is Obama’s version of reparations.
The good news is, the middle class habitually votes, unlike the poor. And the pain will be evident by November 2010.
