JERUSALEM – The Obama administration told the Palestinian Authority the "golden era" of Israeli construction in sections of Jerusalem and the strategic West Bank will soon come to an end, a top PA negotiator told WND.
"The U.S. assured us that for the first time since 1967, we are going into a period where there will not be allowed a single construction effort on the part of the Israelis in the settlements, including in Gush Etzion, Maale Adumum and eastern Jerusalem," said the negotiator, speaking from Ramallah on condition his name be withheld.
Maale Adumim is located in eastern Jerusalem. Israel reunited the eastern and western sections of Jerusalem and the West Bank during the 1967 Six Day War. Eastern Jerusalem, claimed by the PA for a future state, includes the Temple Mount.

If the past, I would have read that article and then proclaimed my opinion that the palestinian authority “negotiator” is a liar.
It is unfortunate, and pi$$es me off to no end, that I now have no trouble believing his claims; all thanks to the sorry, worthless individual who is currently infesting the presidency of the United States.
Why doesn’t he just “wait and see how it plays out”?
What if they let Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac finance the homes and then sell derivatives backed by the mortgages? Can they build then?

He may have to actually do something about Iran and that scares him to death. He’s lost his chicken sh@# notion that he was going to talk that nut job out of building nukes. He’s a coward and was hoping that talking would work so that he would not actually have to do something. I suspect that he will continue to be “deeply concerned”- his favorite phrase, about all foreign problems until the end of his presidency.
This guy is going to either start a war, or dissapoint them, becuase ISRAEL cannot stop building homes!
