There is still hope for America with people like this still alive and doing their best to show the whole world where they stand.

A lovely song commemorating Yankee aggression and tyranny.
I refuse to sing it when it's played in church.

Boy oh boy, that was terrific.
Here is my favorite verse, which often gets left out for some reason.
“He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat;
He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment seat;
Oh, be swift, my soul, to answer Him! be jubilant, my feet;
Our God is marching on.”

I agree but did you also notice that they sing the PC version in part where they sing “let us live to make men free”, in the actual song it is “let us die to make men free.” Just a stickler.

I was resisting a post exactly like yours, but, I'll give you an Amen. Way too much mixing of Jesus with Caesar for this American and Christian.

Thank you. They did a wonderful job with this old favorite. And they sang my favorite verse so sweetly it brought tears to my eyes...
In the beauty of the lilies, Christ was born across the sea...
