What would Kate Couric ask Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin if she could interview her again?
"I have no idea!" Couric told Usmagazine.com Tuesday at High Voltage's 60th birthday bash in NYC. "If I get the opportunity, I'd be thrilled to talk to her again."
Last September, the CBS Evening News anchor conducted an awkward interview with the former vice presidential candidate, pressing Palin to explain why Alaska's proximity to Russia gives her foreign policy experience. She also asked Palin what newspapers and magazines she reads regularly. ("Um, all of them, any of them," an uncomfortable Palin replied.)
Asked about her famous chat with Palin, Couric told Us Tuesday, "I feel like that interview speaks for itself."

By creative editing, lighting, placement, certain types of questions, ect... you can make ANYONE look like an idiot if that is your goal.

The answer to your question is Nicole Wallace. She was McCain's spokesperson and she was a friend of Katie The Dunce. Many believe it was Nicole Wallace who was the source of the reports that Palin did not know that Africa was a continent or what countries were part of NAFTA.

I remember the exact moment I stopped being a Katie Couric fan, and lost all respect for her as a person as well as a reporter. She was invited into the White House by Barbara Bush, and when President Bush suddenly and unexpectedly walked into a room where they were, she rushed up to him and begin asking him pointed, accusatory questions about something (I used to remember but now I forget exactly what they were). His reply back to her was in the vein of “maintaining respect in the White House”, and it was priceless. She was so incredible rude and out of line — I was shocked. I can’t seem to get that image out of my mind, whenever I hear about her. I used to admire her before then, despite disagreeing with her politics. She was arrogant and disrespectful toward the President of the United States, placing herself on the same ground as him, and it was so blatant, I never forgot it.
