Paterson called a special session. The Repubs, using 2 Dems, had taken over the Dem controlled state Senate and named their own leaders. Dems are taking them to court claiming it’s an illegal act. I didn’t bother reading why Paterson called the session. They’re all nuts so who cares.
Thanks. I gathered that somehow the Repubs were supposed to be in control and the Dims refused to recognize the control. Is it legal what the Repubs did? Switching parties happens all the time, and I can’t imagine how it could be illegal
