I guess it’s caving to a point, more than likely they realized the potential endless lawsuits the Democratic Party would put them through and decided to cut their losses. The club still can’t use university facilities to endorse candidates that don’t fit the school’s Christian mission and policies, so that’s something at least.

I think that it is a great policy. I only think that they should have had one more stipulation for any political club on campus (Republican, Demonrat or Green, for that matter): they should be required to participate in bi-annual debates on key issues of the time.
