Good luck with those posers.
They may be powerful on the Internet over at Google, but they are seriously left.

Maybe they will turn violent. Maybe I will be one of the people who is going to get killed. I have a better idea, maybe you should arm your self and kill those sons of bitches before they kill you. Cowards have no problem killing unarmed civilians, but like all bullies they turn and run in fear at the first sight of their own blood. Dead martyrs are useless.

Wow. I can’t seem to come up with words to express how much I respect the Iranians willing to fight this fight.

Ah, but in Islam dead martyrs are anything but useless. There are indications that some Iranians may be arming themselves. Other indications are that the army & police will not fire on their own people (but, yes we must remember Tienanmen).
These people are doing what they can to fight for freedom.

I sense that Google will help out because they know that with the Islamofascists, they being liberal will be the first ones killed.

They know that many Americans (and people throughout the world) are with them. That is one of the great things about the Internet. We can tell those who are fighting for freedom — and many of them *do* believe in freedom, they reference OUR Constitution as what they want for themselves. These are educated people who have read our Constitution. They clearly see what is wrong with Iran.

Wish we had sent them guns. Lots of guns. That’s what they need. It’s a shame they’re going to go face-to-face with Imanutjob’s henchmen unarmed. That lunatic has no qualms whatsoever about killing as many people as needed to achieve his ends.

The wild card is going to be the Iranian Army. Many of the conscripts in the ranks are the friends and relatives of the people doing the protesting. All it will take is one officer deciding to leave the armory door unlocked...

Yeah, well said.
I did not join the Hallelujah chorus on this deal.
I think that unless there is a real revolution, then they get Iran/Mullah light.
I am also aware that some of these people, or at least their parents and grandparents held American citizens for 444 days.
Even if they were not in the embassy as such, thousands were in the streets screaming for death to America.
I remember.

One of the most amazing things of this Green movement is that HuffPost has covered it so well. Normally, I’d never be caught DEAD at the HuffPost. Then there’s Andrew Sullivan...

I’ve been pleasantly surprised at HuffPost’s coverage as well. I think they see the rebels as “progressives”. Perhaps they are. I think a lot of them just want to be free.

PersianKiwi (among others) is reporting that cell phone text messaging service is back. My suspicion is that the govt wants to find out who is going to send pro-rebellion messages, so they can be put on a list to be dealt with later.

I'd seen it w/o subtitles and it was powerful. It's so much more with the subtitles. An anonymous voice cries for her people.
