I have seen Dave Matthews on TV once or twice and was astounded! I found their “music” literally painful to try to listen to. It makes disco sound like Mozart by comparison. Listen to a couple of Buddy Holly numbers like “Peggy Sue” or “Rave On” and you will realize just why Matthews sounds so awful, IT AIN’T MUSIC!
Well, if you ignore the fact that he has no harmony, melody, or rhythm, it’s actually very good!
