A Catholic couple who had sextuplets last month have revealed how they were told by doctors to abort some of the babies.
Nuala Conway, who gave birth to the first sextuplets in the UK for more than 25 years, was warned about the high risks of carrying so many children. The first-time mother and her husband Austin were told at 14 weeks that they could terminate some of them to reduce the risk during the pregnancy. But the former fashion store worker insisted she was putting her faith in God and wanted to go ahead.

What is it with the UK and the abortion-crazy doctors? Seems that at least once or twice per week, we read of doctors telling mothers to abort their baby(s) for one reason or the other. Is it the socialize medicine system that is trying to ration the care? An abortion, I am sure, is less expensive than care for a premature or developmentally disabled baby.
Still - quite disgusting.
It's not just UK doctors. Doctors in the US tell woment this, too. One doctor told me that he had to "give them that option" to prevent being sued. If something is wrong with one of the babies and the parents were not told that the risks of multiple prenancy could be reduced by reducing the number of babies, they could sue the doctor.
OMG what a blessing those cuties are. They are sooo beautiful. May God protect these little angels.
Thank God the mother didn’t listen to the doctors. I remember a cousin of mine was told by the doctor that he recommended to abort her baby because the the x-ray showed that the baby had some deformity. My mother convince her not to abort the baby because the baby would be born healthy. Well that “deform baby” was born healthy and is now in his 20’s.

I’ve known some abortion survivors. They basically float through life without an ounce of self respect or ambition. They are crippled with guilt they don’t deserve and won’t listen to any consolation.
It is so horrible that the very first challenege many babies face is to survive an encounter with thei people who are supposed to protect their health. It’s like humans are no different from black widow spiders.
And for that, we should be immediately, permanently, and exceptionally grateful.

She gave a speech at my college a few years ago. I was going to ask her some questions but the line was an hour long. I regret not waiting.
