Business groups are daring President Barack Obama to impose pay caps on labor union bosses in light of indications the White House will limit how much corporate executives can be paid.
President Obama has argued corporate greed has contributed to the economic crisis and appointed a compensation czar to review executive pay for several companies receiving taxpayer bailout money Wednesday. Now White House officials have told the press legislation should be enacted to limit executive pay in private companies through nonbinding shareholders votes.

Do we have a comprehensive list of czars this clown has appointed? Is nobody in the Obama administration capable of walking and chewing gum at the same time?
What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. Put caps on union bosses. That way the mob will be coming up short in the money area.
That would include trial lawyers and Hollywood too.
So Obama has finally proven Joe the Plumber was Correct.
Hey, Joe...Lets hear from You.
Obama isn’t smarter than a 5th grader. He thinks he runs the Government, when its really the American people. BHO is failing and flailing FAST !
And how could I forget the MSM. We must set caps on their pay.
Under what authority?
Someone should ask if these caps would also apply to pro sports, or entertainment and music celebrities. If not, why not?
He just named a “Great Lakes Czar.” 0 is beyond ridiculous!
Zero's Czar-Appointment Czar should have the list your looking for.
I'd like to know how much money THEY'RE making, and what appropriations bill covered it. Somehow I don't think they're a reprise of Roosevelt's dollar-a-year men.
Someone should look into not only the compensation and benes of union bosses, but their family members and girlfriends on the union payrolls. They are bigger crooks than corp execs ever thought to be. All in the name of the workers, of course.
What the h*ll does a Great Lakes Czar do????
Fish........
Would that be a SeaCzar?
While we’re at it, let’s insist that Congresspeople utilize the same health care they are planning to inflict upon us.
The more I think of the expanding number of czars, accountable to no one, I'm reminded of the words of the classics and their timeless wisdom.
Governor Tarkin: The Imperial Senate will no longer be of any concern to us. I have just received word that the Emperor has dissolved the council permanently. The last remnants of the Old Republic have been swept away.
General Tagge: But that's impossible. How will the Emperor maintain control without the bureaucracy?
Governor Tarkin: The regional governors now have direct control over their territories. Fear will keep the local systems in line.
The restoration program for the great lakes is expected to cost more than $20 billion.
lol..
NEVER happen!
Silly rabbit! For the same reason "universal health care" won't apply to them.
Yes, he is of limited intellect. But he's not running things, he just thinks he is. He is a mouthpiece for some very powerful entities. Lot of chits being called in by these entities (Soros comes to mind).
Ironically, BO has come to believe he got here all on his own abilities. At some point that belief is going to collide with the folks running him. It won't be seen publicly, but eventually he is going to decide to go in a different direction than as desired by his "handlers". When that happens he is going to be put in place. They will let him know who is in charge and who is still on the plantation.
It will be a rude awakening for him. Unfortunately, I don't see how it will benefit the country.
All I hear is bird chirps. /S
As Krauthammer and McCain have both said, "More czars in four months than the Romanoffs in 3 centuries."
Who will be the RayCzar?
Voters should also have the right to demand President Obama pay for the additional costs incurred by partying with the First B*tch.
How about limits on Hollywood pay? Is there anyone more useless than celebrities? See how fast that crowd turns around.
Hollywood and all overpaid athletes should also be subject to government review, but I would go after UN employees after controlling elected officials.
