No I was not a Romney supporter.

Everyone makes mistakes and as a mother who's own daughter had a child (whom I love dearly) out of wed lock would be the last person in the world to vilify Palin.

I supported Huckabee who was demonized for his son while Palin gets a pass.

Obama is a smooth talker while Palin stumbles over her words. She is not forceful enough and it's going to take a lot of experience and strength to dig us out of this mess.

Even with his past personal mistakes I'm leading towards Newt. Since I am laying it all out there, I would like to see a Newt/Huckabee or Newt/Palin ticket. Which over time may change as the list of candidates are known.

Thanks for the honest reply. Can't join you with the Huckabee, not only do I think he's a rino, if you think the media will have a field day with Palin, wait till they get a preacher in their sights. He'll get a pass until he wins the ticket, then they will destroy him in the general. McCain is perfect example of how the media treats people it WANTS to win the republican ticket, and then how they treat them when they actually run against a dem. I was a huge Newt fan despite the divorcing the sick wife thing, I've learned better than to judge based on outside appearances of a divorce. I married my second wife (18 years now) 2 months after my divorce. Everyone just KNEW I had her on the side, I never meet her until I was in my divorce. So you just never know. But he lost me when he was running the global warming ads with Queen Nancy. I will NEVER vote for him. We either get a no kidding around conservative or I change parties. I've reached a point in my life were I'd rather LOSE fighting for whats right the win with a rino. I'll consider Sanford, maybe jendal, but I'll spend money and time on Palin. If you don't think Palin has strength, you haven't been paying attention. Nobody has ever been attacked like she has. I also don't think experience will get us out of this mess. Only one thing will work, PRINCIPLES! I'm tired of people that will sell there moma for an extra vote. I want to KNOW what the next president will do in any given situation because they have principles and they stick to them.
Sorry for the long post, thanks again for your thoughtful response.

“I supported Huckabee who was demonized for his son while Palin gets a pass.”

I don’t remember Huckabee getting demonized.

Why did you support Huckabee?
