I have no doubt she's telling the truth. This is disgusting, and, I suppose, what most expected all along.

I read the article and she left there 20 years ago. That doesn’t at all undermine her credibility. Quite the contrary, in fact. I notice that she said Tiller “didn’t deserve to be shot”. I think that’s overly generous of her. Tiller claimed 60,000 “kills” so, if he didn’t deserve to be shot, then who does? “Tiller’s Temple of the Barbaric Sacrament” is no more - and that’s a good thing.

A mere summary of the records from 2003 obtained by an order of a judge for "due cause" to believe that a "crime or crimes had been committed" and allowed to then Atty. Gen. Phill Kline, showed that the abortions done by Tiller were performed to prevent or protect women/girls from "serious and permanent mental impairment" were for being unable to "attend a rock concert," "play soccer with my team," "unable to go shopping for clothes," etc.

All were never referred to any psychological counseling for "treatment of their permanent mental impairment," which any serious medical doctor would have a medical moral obligation to do.

An uninterested (purported pro-choice) doctor from John's Hopkins reviewed all of the subpoenaed records and stated that most of the abortions performed by Tiller was done for any serious psychological illness, and none to save the life of the mother from any physical illness.

The only way to really know who’s telling the truth is to have all the records released for public scrutiny. But the Tiller folks won’t do that because it would show criminal behavior, though they’ll cite ‘privacy’ as the reason for hiding the truth.

From Enid, Oklahoma...

Luhra Tivis thought she was pro-choice until she worked for the late Dr. George Tiller.

Tivis, who now lives in Enid, said she worked for Tiller in Wichita, Kan., in 1988. Tivis did computer work at the abortion clinic, filing Medicare records. She also underwent some sales training and answered calls from patients. She now is employed at StarTek and also works for Wheatheart Nutrition delivering meals.

Since her experience working in the clinic, Tivis has changed her opinion about abortion, is a member of Operation Rescue and an outspoken opponent of abortion, speaking at rallies throughout the United States.

Thanks to the Enid news for printing this...

She recalled one day seeing Tiller come from the surgery room carrying a cardboard box. He asked her to open a door for him and she saw his crematorium. “I realized that box was full of dead babies. That freaked me out. That was right before I left,” she said.

I don't condone his murder, but the man was a savage, inhuman murderer devoid of humanity. I'm glad he's rotting in hell and unable to harm any more babies.

I wasn't aware women of child-bearing age qualified for Medicare. Perhaps they mean Medicaid. Perhaps this can be attributed to sloppy reporting. Or perhaps Tivis gets her facts terribly wrong.

In any case, I remain far less convinced of the lady's veracity.
