MOSCOW. June 5 (Interfax) - Chechen separatist leader Doku Umarov has been killed in a special operation, a source in Russian law enforcement told Interfax on Monday.
The source said the operation to eliminate Umarov was conducted in a republic in the North Caucasus.
"A forensic examination is being conducted for the final identification of the killed man," the source said.
Interfax has not obtained official confirmation of the report yet.

Don't they know this is a law enforcement issue? This poor fellow deserved an open and fair trial where he could call witnesses and expose russian intelligence.

Russia is helping Iran’s mad mullahs too with their nuclear program; they’re also selling air defense to the mad mullahs, which might be used to protect those nuclear facilities. Putin’s got a mixed record on standing up to Muslim nut cases.
