Actress Demi Moore has asked Susan Boyle to sing at her wedding anniversary, reports have claimed. Moore has reportedly offered Boyle, the Britain's Got talent singing sensation $50,000 (£30,000) to sing for her and toyboy husband Ashton Kutcher at a Hollywood party to be held in September. The former wife of Bruce Willis and Kutcher are huge fans of Boyle, with Moore reportedly having flown to the UK to watch and support the Scottish singer on the finale of Britain's Got Talent.

A source close to the Hollywood couple said: "Demi and Ashton think Susan Boyle is absolutely brilliant in a fantastically unique and kitsch way. "Demi joked to Ashton about booking Susan to sing for him. She wanted her to lift up her skirt and flash her knee, the way she did with Piers Morgan.

"And Demi has teased Ashton that Susan would eat him alive. The idea is a cocktail party at home in Los Angeles, the highlight being Susan singing."

Good news for Boyle - singing at Demi’s wedding is a good recurring gig.

Isn’t capitalism wonderful?

It lavishes the riches of a potentate on a marginal talent like Demi Moore, so that she spend hideous amounts of money on the “less fortunate”, all in an effort to feel good about herself.

Is it going to be a yearly contract?

So Demi is going to increase CO2 just so a singer can show her toyboy some knee?

I'm sure Susan feels honored to be fantastically kitsch. Is $50K worth being mocked by the likes of these two?

Good for her. A nice story for once. (instead of all the usual rotten news)

*btw, I’ll ignore the boytoy comment. My sweetie is 13 years younger than me. LOL*

avacado, you’re so bad. ;)

"It"? As though "capitalism" were this headless monster unfairly giving away all the goodies to someone you think shouldn't get them?

Pffft...

People, including Demi Moore, can spend their money how and where they choose. Please tell us all what other arrangement you would prefer?

I’d rather see $50,000 in Susan Boyle’s bank account rather than going to pay for more plastic additions to Demi Moore’s body.

Maybe not winning was a good thing for Susan. She can have a lucrative and successful career out of the limelight, which seems to have caused her a lot of unnecessary stress.

Love capitalism. The free market rules.

The arrangement I prefer is EXACTLY what I have described:

The raising of all boats, the freedom and abject luxury to piss money away at will, and MY freedom to comment on the sometimes humorous juxtapostions of renumeration and talent.

Bronx cheer back at you.

Don't worry. The capitalism-bashers like yourself are ascendant.

The class war is on, and you guys are the favorites. Soon we'll all be broke but equal in the Marxist paradise you dream of.

Complete misread of my original Post.

See Post 10, if you are interested.

There is no stauncher advocate of capitalism then I, but I can also enjoy the often humorous rewards it bestows, often on those who despise it.

She’ll do a couple of gigs and then go back to her people with a smile and a helping hand for her home town. I wish her all good things.
