I am sorry that you feel that way, but I certainly understand and I support your right to your opinion. I just simply don't agree.

I feel that our struggles stem from the loss of decency and self-responsibility in this country. Those of us who want to hold on to both are in the minority and at a great disadvantage. We want to take the high road, which means working hard and making sacrifices.

I see a great many Americans who want to take the easier low road. They don't want to suffer the consequences of bad decisions (ex: abortion, foreclosure, bankrupcy). They demand entitlements and, unfortunately, they are being promised more and more. They are now the majority, with the media strongly behind them and we may never be able to "fight back".

p.s. I am just waiting to see how they like their new "green America" when everything in it costs many times more.

[[Unless the west can escape from the illusion that Islam is just another legitimate eastern religion]]

We can never escape from it because Obama is laying hte groundwork to forever appease extremists, who will shove htier foot through the door and NEVER give up the ground Obama is Ceeding to htem- Obama is legitimizing their extremism, and again, once they gain that ground, they will NEVER ever let go of it. IF we try to gain it back, they will launch Jihad against us, and the world will give htem the wink and nod to do so because we will be seen as the bad guys for ‘oppressing’ them.

I don’t think most Americans, armed to the teeth and raised with a strong sense of their heritage are willing to roll over and play dead like the decadent western Europeans before the Islamic Jihadists.

[[ I am not Muslim, I will not bow to Islam and I will not even pretend I like them or their religion. Call me a racist or bigot or whatever you wish,]]

Nah- I’ll instead call you rational, honest, observent, and insightful- somethign that is severely lacking in Obama unfortunately-

A guest on Laura Ingraham’s show proved Obama has a shocking LACK of understanding of Muslim history.

lol- still obsessing over Bush? Whatever- Repubs lost because America wanted their mommy, and Obama promissed to be their mommy- fixing all their boo boos (telling htem htey no longer have to pay hteir mortgages) fixing hteir fevers (Telling failing companies they no longer have to bail themselves out) and fixing hteir Hemmoriods (handing money over to unions via the back door)

The repubs are fine- it’s America that is whacked and lacking respect for themselves and wantign government to pay everything without ever havign to pay hte price- National health care anyone?

“...Mr Obama has started turning the page on eight years in which the “war on terror” was perceived by Muslims as an attack on Islam. “

Gee, and all this time I thought it was an Islamic Terror War on the US.

Hmm I dunno- I think most nowadays think the government is responsible for everythign and will ‘take care of us’ no matter what happens, and will be too complacent and ‘secure in hte mistaken knowledge that big government iwll take care of us’

I hate to htink htis way, but after this last election, and seeing how the majority voted for obama who promissed this that and hte other thing too- I have lost a lot of faith in the sensibilities of people who have apparently shirked their own responsibilities and want government to take care of everyhting dspite hte fact that we know it’s goign to destroy us in the long run- We’re now a generation of ‘me first’ ‘hooray for today- to hell with tomorrow’.

It’s possible people iwll finally wake up- But France just rolled over and went to sleep while Muslims took over parts of France, and now French authorities can’t even go in hteir and enforce french laws anymore- We’re headed in the same direction, and obama is leadign hte charge into Hell, and hte peopel are glibbly goign along because they think big government is now our mommy and will take care of us and we won’t have to lift a figner to hlep ourselves I’m afraid

One other quick htought- Those few of us who are armed and have strong sense of patriotism, will be portrayed by our own government as ‘radicals and extremists’ and we’ll be portrayed by our own government as opprerssors of Muslims if we were to try to defend ourselves agaisnt extremists- Goverment will try to paint us as David Koresh’s or Jim Jones radicals or Timothy McVeighs if we were to disobey govenrment and stand up for ourselves agaisnt terrorists in our own coutnry-

I think their is a BIG liberal push to legitimize extremist muslims will suppressing Americanism by mandate of govenrment, and again- Obama is leadign hte charge into hell, and htose hwo don’t follow him obediently, will pay a heavy price

For years the likes of Osama bin Laden have claimed to speak on behalf of oppressed Muslim communities as they perverted the message of Islam and exploited the conflicts in the Middle East to stoke fear and violence. But Mr Obama took them on, not with threats... but with eloquence, authority, a deep grasp of Muslim history and an understanding of Muslim grievances... Mr Obama drew on his family ties to Islam (mentioning his middle name Hussein) and his respect for Islamic civilisation... Rarely, if ever, has an American leader drawn so much applause from an audience in the Muslim world... The audience, selected by the US to include friends and foes of America, gave Mr Obama a standing ovation... If there was a magic list of words his audience wanted to hear, he delivered it. He spoke of... the need for Israel to stop expanding settlements... even as he warned that no country should impose its model of governance on another... he will find translating them into coherent policies far more challenging, if not impossible... it raises expectations far beyond the US's ability to deliver.
But that's okay -- the partisan media shills continue to beat the drum for him, and will blame Israel, Christians, Jews, business, and US conservatives for any and all of O's failures.

“Mr Obama called for a joint effort to create a world where extremists no longer threatened Americans, US troops returned home, Israelis and Palestinians lived in secure states of their own, and nuclear energy was used only for peaceful purposes. It is an ambitious vision that would transform the Middle East, but it raises expectations far beyond the US’s ability to deliver.”

Oh I could have told you the code word. It is subjugation.

The direct translation of the word Islam is subjugation.

It has always been the way to favor, and slavery in Islam.
