It is sad when a male who appears to have a handgun is seen as a public danger. I am a male who has a handgun and I will protect those around me.

Campus community members should resume normal activities.

The continuing investigation is being conducted with Princeton Borough and Township police, and the Department of Public Safety has re-opened the campus. Shortly before 11 a.m., a male with what appeared to be a handgun was reported near the vicinity of Dod Hall dormitory.

Check the Princeton home page at www.princeton.edu for updates. Campus community members can check their e-mail as well.

Apparently the man was under the delusional that the 2nd amendment applies on college campuses.

What I don’t understand is why they are in custody for having a plastic gun? Is dumpster diving an offense in Nuevo Jersey?

Green plastic toy gun. Sounds like a water pistol. Pretty scary for someone who was never allowed to see a picture of a gun. Apparently not all at Princeton are getting a proper education.

Sad and sorry times for the US. When I was a boy we carried our firearms everywhere, so did the adults. No one called the police because they were armed also and guns were common sights. We have become a wussified country. Cowards for the most part, willing to sacrifice our freedom for false sense of safety. The truth is, if this had been a real criminal with a real firearm the police would not have been able to arrest them before they shot the he** out of whomever they wanted to shoot. They wouldn't have had the gun in the open and no one would have called the police.

People today are stupid, cowardly wimps, not all of them but a large part of them and many of the cowards are here on FR pretending to be conservatives.
