It’s possible that many of these same posters agree with you, but HATE the intrusion of government into the market because the cost matters to a lot of people. In a way, it’s a burden on the poor.

Just imagine with nationalized health care. You’ll need a permit to buy more than one egg per week. Or you’ll be denied care if you consume more than 4 eggs per week because you’re costing the government system too much. What a scary world!

I’m pretty sure there are more chickens than people...and almost as many deer now too

I checked, and you are right!

I don’t grocery shop there, but I did when I was taking care of daddy.
I think these are the brand of eggs that mother likes so much.
She doesn’t eat eggs often, but she absolutely loves these, and wouldn’t accept any other brand.
They must be good, but I doubt they are as expensive as in CA.
