Recently, I had the pleasure of telling a friend to STFU after he whined about the increase in taxes on rollup tabak. Asked him, knowing the answer, if he voted for Obie. When he said yes, I replied, you got what you voted for, now zip it!
Such simple joy!
The legislature here also just approved something like a 70% tax hike on tobacco. One of our clients who sells cigars is now almost going out of business based on this idiocy.
Well, it's what one should expect in Obama-land.
And I can’t wait until they start mandating to overweight people, because I will NEVER be overweight. It all comes down to the way we TREAT EACH OTHER, no matter what the issue.

i am not a smoker...but imho i believe where it is almost illegal to smoke anywhere then we just need to stamp out smoking altogether and make it against the law...right now they want it both ways...make it a crime to smoke anywhere and get caught and fined and keep smoking legal so they can collect the taxes....if someone wants to smoke outdoors what is the problem...??...

Pity the folks that cannot come up with things themselves.
That’s because the rabs haven’t figured out the more subtle aspects of life-control. You don’t really control someone until you can control the things the like the best. Only then, when you can do this, do you know you have them. Religion, in their eyes is brainwashing kind of thing and for all outward appearances and daily living suffices for them now. But, when they finally figure it out, that they can utterly control their minions, then they will be satisfied.
Assuming a fantasy that Hitler, FDR and Churchill miraculously reincarnate and appear at Rockefeller Plaza, and decide on a drink at a nearby bar, Hitler will sit inside happily, sipping a non alcoholic beverage and eating celery sticks, while Churchill and FDR, in his wheelchair, are relegated to pounding the pavement with their cigar and cigarette holder.
