Been there. It took a couple of rounds of Flagyl to get over. It is no disease to mess around with.
The problem with cleaning hospitals of the c.diff. bacteria is that the bacteria will convert to spores when stressed. And about the only thing strong enough to eliminate the spores is bleach.
