Where is the GOP? House and Senate Republicans were
against the auto bailout. I'd say the GOP pretty much washed their hands of their auto industry contributors in November/December 2008 when they voted their free-market principles.
Let's face it: It's just no fun to be part of a dying industry in its last days.
