I would not take too much stock in Sotomayers affiliations with La Raza. I always felt La Raza was more of a Mexican nationalist organization while Sotomayer is Puerto Rican. Sure they share the same language and tiny bits of culture but they are not the same race and very different. Just ask any Mexican or Puerto Rican in Chicago.
This wasn’t common knowlege before. I’m hoping it does some damage.
