That's because they know that a revolt against Obama is coming so they want to stack as many RINO's into the Republican party as they can so they can stop Obama's programs from being rescinded.

You're probably right. Fact is these people are narcissists they do anything to get attention. Colin Powell at one time was asked to run for office and he did not have the stomach for it.He is not an asset to the party anymore than Arlen Specter both are nothing but legends in their own minds. Powell is doing nothing more than swaying with the political winds.
