ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed to allow an investment group from China to become a minority owner of the basketball franchise and its arena.

The group, which includes JianHua Huang, a Chinese businessman who has brokered sponsorship deals with the New York Yankees and other sports franchises in the U.S., could acquire as much as 15% of Cavaliers Operating Co., the entity that owns the team and operates Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.

I saw that doggone FL flag in your profile, you.

LOL

Give us longsufferingClevelandfans a break, will ya? Darlin’ we’ve suffered enough!

Sometimes the universe brings you the wrong french toast. Such is the fate of the Cavs. Of every single team in the NBA, the one that gave us (but not others, go figure?) the most trouble were those damn Magicians down south. Karma told me before the playoffs that we’d find ourselves in exactly this place. meh

Tomorrow night might be a “drinking night.” LOL

Lebron will have the world as his oyster now...talk about marketing opportunities. He’ll have no reason to go to any other team now. If you don’t think this is a shrewd move by Gilbert, you do not know anything about Global economies 101.

The NBA is more popular in China than in the US. Seriously.
