WASHINGTON
It was already known that former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge has ruled out running against former Republican-turned Democratic Sen. Arlen Specter next year.
But would Ridge consider making a White House bid in 2012?
Ridge, a moderate Republican who was the nation's first homeland security chief, says he plans to work within the party so the GOP wins the presidency in 2012.
"And we'll just leave it at that," he says.
Ridge believes Republicans need to make some changes in their approach to be more successful.
Asked in a broadcast interview whether he might want to accomplish those changes by running for the White House, Ridge said: "You can interpret it any way you want to."
Ridge appeared this morning on CNN's "State of the Union."

Dear Tom Ridge,
Do NOT count on any support beyond A. Spector. The rest of the country consider you as just another RINO.

Not.

Another RINO for President? You mean Bob Dole, John McCain and George W. Bush weren’t good enough RINO’s? We must try harder to get a “pure” RINO for President. Yeah, that’s the ticket! I can see it now, “Landslide” Ridge.

As if they could ever reinvent those principles. No, all they can do is replace those unalienable rights and principle, granted by God, with cheap, man-made imitations which will lead to the ruin and destruction of our Republic...which in the end, is their aim.

Screw Tom Ridge. He’s a RINO. He’s a Vichy Republican.
No way I will vote for him.
McCain is the last time I vote for the lesser of two evils. Next election if the RNC puts up a RINO, they can roll around in their own self-made crapyard. I will not have anything to do with them on the national level if they will not listen to the majority of us and get their act together.
