The Boston Globe ran a front-page story today about two serious crimes that have occurred in our little town in the past month. Go to the Globe if you want to read the article.
My issue is the following "fact" in the main article: "Talk around town typically turns to taxes or big-money real estate transactions."
Now, Jenna Russell and Sarah Schweitzer, the intrepid reporters, carried out most of their "investigation" on the telephone. Whether either of them ever set foot here is unknown,
But the fact that they did not partake of "typical" talk around town is, of course, a certainty. If they did, they would know that we spend most of our time cliniging to our guns and to our religion < /sarcasm>
Nevertheless, to feign a familiarity with a town of which they know nothing, they inserted an entirely made-up "fact" into a serious news story about two serious crimes.
Why are they going out of business?
Because they make sh*t up, that's why.
They will of course insist that the readers are ignoramuses who are too stupid to buy and read their opinions, to their everlasting detriment.
They are the most pigheaded and arrogant persons I can imagine.
Starve rather than admit that nobody wants to buy their liberal hogwash.
Except for, perhaps, those denizens of the news room and the board room at the New York Times.
Which is fitting, actually...
The only BLM bureaucrat I ever had ANY respect for once said about his agency on the subject of Memorandums Of Understanding(MOU's), that he always thought they were more like MSU's (Make Stuff Up!)
So even though all of government, the MSM and most Non-Profit NGO's think they are all sactified and holy because they disregard the profit motive, it's being quickly proven that they are full of that stuff you say they make up!!!
At least they the way things look from KS, today, G.D...
Thanks for your reply re making stuff up.
As you noted making stuff up is a core belief/action of the left wing in the media, government, NGOS and whatever they control.
