I thought squirrels were classified as vermin, like their rat cousins.

Hey Matt, I just saw an end tag on a movie that said “No animals were harmed during filming, though the humans didn’t fare as well”. Squirrels? I thought .22’s were developed just for them. And we do seem to be re-approaching a time where the cute tree rats have to be considered a food source.

This one also bowls me over (bowls of squirrel stew with carrots and stuff...mmmm) because squirrels, like pigeons, are regarded as endangered species rather than the overabundant pests they actually are.

But hey, try explaining reality to a young liberal appointee who’s kid just cried to him about how Rocket J.’s modern fictional equivalent is being cruelly tortured to death. We’re going to see a lot more of this idiocy in this Obama-nation.

During my career working for line utility companies more than once I launched squirrels and other such species into orbit. Catch one mid-span on a cable , hit said cable with line wrench, see animal in orbit. LOL
