ANNAPOLIS | President Obama on Friday promised the U.S. Naval Academy's graduating class that he will not send them into combat unless absolutely necessary and will always make sure they are properly prepared and equipped, in an apparent swipe at the Bush administration and the Iraq war.

Not sure why the Wash Times reporter didn't mention Obama's reach around?

Not sure why the Wash Times reporter didn't mention Obama's reach around? They forgot he only bottoms for Michelle and Bill Ayers, otherwise, he tops. He won, don't-cha know.

A veiled thank you to his father for running such an inept campaign allowing “The One” to become emperor.

“The president attempted to reclaim momentum on the issue Thursday with a major speech in Washington, but was faced with a rebuke from former Vice President Dick Cheney at a speech immediately following his remarks.”
Sorry, no. The President tried to preempt the Cheney speech, which was previously scheduled. Cheney handed him a bitch slapping he richly deserves. I wish Cheney was in better health and had the time to take these buffoons on full time. No other Republicans seem to have the backbone or the intelligence for the job.

Hopefully #4 will learn the lessons of his Father and become a solid conservative. but then again, that hug might portend otherwise.

A nice symbolic gesture which covers up how much the Obama Administration really plans to spend on defense.

It’s too bad that ENS McCain didn’t step back to avoid the hug and remind the TOTUS that he will render appropriate courtesy and military honors, but that does not include inappropriate touching!

Barry and Jr McCain are demonstrating the true affection shared between their two families - The Maverick (stealth Democrat) and the
Marxist usurper.

ENS McCain was the representative of a lot of people at that moment. That includes his father, who is trying to reach out to the nation and rehabilitate the Republican Party.
Unfortunately, and perhaps telling, the younger bowed instead of standing politely distant and erect.

He didn’t help rehabilitate the Republican party by becoming a photo op with Obama. All that says is, “See, we like each other. Why can’t you bitter, clingin’ tea-baggers stop resisting and just join us?”

You and I are on the same page.
This was on the national stage, it was not a gathering of family friends or neighborhood well-wishers.
As I suggested in my second sentence, the younger’s behavior is clearly inconsistent with his father’s current national efforts.
I hope he will be able to reconcile his apparent feelings toward O with his recent oath to defend the Constitution.
