WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Barack Obama on Thursday rejected calls, including by some fellow Democrats, for a truth commission to investigate Bush-era terrorism policies, saying nothing would be gained from it.

Interesting way of putting it - not “That would be nuts, unconstitutional, and as evil as the worst fascist banana republic”, but “nothing would be gained by it.”

Let’s PRETEND Pelosi was tellling the truth when she said the CIA LIED to her. In that reality it goes without saying that we need some sort of inquiry because if the CIA is actually lying to Congress (ha ha) that isn’t acceptable or safe since they have to rely on the information to make decisions.
It would be interesting since the Democrats are involved the the very policies that their base so hates. We "got to move on", no sense dwelling in the past!!
