I'm sorry to disagree with you, Rome, but it is working. That's how Obama was elected, and that's why his poll numbers are still high, and that's why people cheer and applaud at his manipulative speeches. Perhaps it will change in time, but I'm not that sure.

It doesn't work with us, but we are the minority.

The apathy of the bishops is the main problem. Until there are a greater number of bishops who are actual shepherds and not regional business managers things cannot get much better overall.

Agreed.

the ONLY common ground is that sidewalk counselors and those praying may be standing on the same sidewalk those pro-choicers walk on. There is NO common ground. The President speaks like a snake -> forked tongue. Those he has not already lulled into submission must beware!! Father God awaken the country!! Remove the scales from their eyes, the plugs from their ears, the fog from their brains that the TRUTH will be blatantly obvious, undeniably REAL, in Jesus Name!!

Sure we can have common ground.

I have decided.

I am no longer PRO-LIFE

I am now PRO-CHOICE !!!

But in return for moving to this common ground, I have made just 3 small changes to the PRO-CHOICE rules.

Rule 1) There will be an election to determine if the baby (oops, I mean fetus) will be aborted or allowed to live.

Rule 2) The election will be held 9 months after the date the pregnancy is defined. After all, we need time to have a fair and honest election campaign.

Rule 3) Only the person or persons whose lives are on the line get a vote and they can only vote in their own personal election.

Now those three compromises seem fair and reasonable to me. With those three small changes we can remain a pro-choice nation and everybody is happy.

"I too am confused by all the headlines 'The Vatican says this' 'The Vatican says that'"

By design, sw.
In the beginning, had I taken a moment to read *what* was behind the writing --AP, aka Associated Quislngs-- I'd have LOL and moved on.
My error, isn't going to happen again.

"When will our priests start talking about this 'Vatican' - who seems to have so much to say?"

Apparently, AP.
Until people start getting really torqued-off at this AP *thing*, cancel their newspaper(s) and tell 'em why?
Won't matter what happens, is said or done.

Because the insidious things staffing AP will report whatever as they wish and according to their godless agenda.

AP's been at their deception game an awfully long time.
Time to pull the plug.

Archbishop Burke actually IS a highest ranking representative of the Vatican, and said that inviting Obama to Notre Dam is a scandal. I wish more people would not accept the phonies.
