I never thought of the economic angle of this, honestly. Thank you for bringing it up. It wouldn’t surprise me a bit if this was “political” (read: religious) persectution as well.

I had been wondering why there were so many pigs in a largely Muslim Country like Egypt. I had not thought of the Coptic Christians. God bless them. The Lord will provide in some way.

They could definitely use our prayers, though — for strength and courage, they are regularly persecuted in that land...

Just a little further information about the pesecution of Coptic Christians in Egypt. People who daily "walk the walk" of being a Christians despite the worst kinds of threats to their very lives. They are deserving of our prayers...
