We are currently trying to coordinate with the March for Liberty group to better link the two events; theirs is about five blocks away and starts at 9:30 and goes ‘til 2:30
What if, as a result of trillions of dollars waisted by self serving, anti-American politicians on bogus stimulus packages and failed social programs, a future April 15th came along and over 100 million Americans paid precisely nothing?
I join in with my support... The Tea Party events planned for July 4th. may have an impact - but having more organizing time is a Great Idea and 9/12 is even better.
I further propose that Operation Lame Duck be a major theme of the event. We need to scare the pants off those who support the Dems and Obama in this radical - even nutty rabid spending spree. Many Members of the U.S. House and some in the Senate are up for re-election 2010 as we all know. The evidence is in that so called ‘moderate’ Dems and even Republicans took notice of the Tea Parties of a few weeks ago and are impressed - even a bit scared about getting re-elected.
Doing our best to ‘Freeze Politicians in Place’ - starting the Lame Duck process beginning now will immediately cut a lot of support for the Obama - Reid - Pelosi (The ORP’s) money spending run away socialist freight train.
The next step is getting sane conservative candidates elected in 2010 with the help of the continued Tea Party enthusiasm.
If we can get a Million Protesters in D.C. on 9/12 - this nightmare will begin to be over.
WE MUST continue the fight and the cause for the fight has been brought home by those wonderful Tea Party folks...
My wife and I made hotel reservations for the big event two weeks ago. Retirement is a wonderful thing!

But I have to admit that the choice of dates is not very good. The Democrat Propaganda Ministry (the MSM) will spin this as an “attack” on DC by extremists trying to take advantage of the emotions of 9/11. Of course, the MSM will have to acknowledge that there are emotions connected to 9/11, which they have spent the last 7 years attempting to downplay.
But we are going there to protest unfair taxation, runaway spending, and the socialism/fascism that is stealing our liberty and future; not the left’s constant kowtowing to our foreign enemies.

Have just finished watching season II of The Wire. The Dockworker Boss said something sincere and interesting for US. Not verbatim but as I remember. He says: “What has happened to us? We used to make things, we used to build things. Now money just changes from pocket to pocket.”
And that is exactly what I think of the Stock Market and this government.

1. We have the weapon: (the Constitution) to WIN this battle right now.
2. We have the issue: (the eligibility of the usurper).
3. We have the standing: (ANY state or national level senator or representative who all are duty bound to "support" the Constitution in their oaths of office in Article six) to force this issue into the courts.
"” The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.”
The twentieth amendment, section three REQUIRES that the President Elect "qualify" for the office of President BEFORE being allowed to assume the office of President.
"3. If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President. If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.
If Obama is legal, show us where he has "qualified". We the people have a right to know whether or not the person presuming to be our president is in fact legally doing so. If this "qualification" did not take place, he is not President at all and in fact this nation has no current President.
We need to start pressing legal charges against all of our local representatives and senators covered by the oath of office in Article six for disobeying their oaths to support the Constitution as it pertains to the language of section three of the Twentieth amendment. If they are ignoring or failing to enforce the Constitution then they are NOT supporting it. The Constitution is the law, no judge can deny them standing to obey the very oath of office demanded of them in the Constitution itself. Put PRESSURE on them to represent the document that gives them their authority in the first place. We are looking into how best to do this down here. We all should be looking into this approach. NOW.
If we no longer have a Constitution, it's time for this case to expose that fact once and for all.
