The issue is not whether GPS is needed to round up people, it has to do with privacy and the constitutional necessity for a warrant to do searches of citizen property.

In effect, this data base makes it possible for a warrantless visual search of one's property.That includes searching with ground penetating radar as well as visual search.

The GPS census data base is just about as nefarious as it gets. The census does not need it and has no cogent reason to keep it other than for surveillance.

Oh, that is just nonsense. Your GPS location has about as much to do with your privacy as the number on the front of your house. Get a grip.
