(ChattahBox)Jesse Ventura appeared on Larry King Live this week and spoke his mind, pulling no punches, telling it like it is, as only a former pro wrestler, former Navy Seal and former Governor of Minnesota can. Larry King asked Ventura his opinions on a variety of political subjects and Ventura began the interview by calling former Senator Norm Coleman a hypocrite and that was just the beginning (Videos below).
Ventura took on Norm Coleman for delaying the inevitable and refusing to concede to Al Franken when Coleman himself, called for Franken to concede before the recount, saying Coleman has always been a hypocrite.
Ventura didnt stop there. He also had something to say about Dick Cheney and former President Bush, none of it good. Ventura spoke of his disgust with the Bush administrations use of waterboarding and other torture methods at Guantanamo, calling GITMO a U.S. version of Hanoi Hilton. He said point blank that George Bush was the worst president in my lifetime and that he had no respect for Dick Cheney.
Ventura said that there is no question that waterboarding is torture and that everyone involved with it at every level in the Bush administration should be prosecuted. And Ventura should know whether waterboarding is torture or not, because he experienced it first hand at Survival Escape Resistance Evasion school or SERE, which was required for all Navy Seals before entering into combat during the Vietnam War.
Venture described his waterboarding experience as one of torture that subjected him to the real life terror of drowning; saying if done incorrectly subjects can swallow their tongue and die. He called Dick Cheney a coward who refused to serve in the military by requesting five deferments to escape serving in the Vietnam War.
The very man who never served in the military is now a chicken hawk, who sanctioned torture and called it enhanced interrogation, said Ventura.
Ventura doesnt believe Cheney would be able to withstand waterboarding, saying give me a water board, Dick Cheney and one hour, and Ill have him confess to the Sharon Tate murders.
When asked about Cheneys attack on Colin Powell, a former Secretary of Sate and four-star General, when Cheney said Rush Limbaugh was a better Republican than Powell, Ventura scoffed at the notion, saying Colin Powell is a war hero who didnt run and hide like Cheney did. Ventura has tremendous respect for Colin Powell and none for Dick Cheney.
Jesse Ventura is retired from politics and lives most of the year now in Mexico surfing. When asked if he would consider returning to public life, I wish President Barack Obama would make me the first ambassador to Cuba, said Ventura.
When he met with Fidel Castro in Cuba on a trip as Governor, Castro looked Ventura in the eyes and said, youre a man of great courage, because you defied your President to come here.
Jesse Ventura as Ambassador to Cuba? Sure, why not.

If they ever re-make Young Frankenstein, Jesse will be a shoe-in.
A good reason not to take steroids
I think Ventura suffered some brain damage during his wrestling career
...and not swallow tobacco spit.
He must be a thorough embarrassment to the Navy Seal community. The moron is full blown commie now.
Does anyone know what “The Body” service record looks like?
Ventura always hiding behind his past SEAL history.
The man is a freaking disgrace to veterans and to the general concept of sanity.
Didn't you say once this guy is "former UDT", not "former SEAL"?
I wonder if he realizes that most Navy Seals think he is an idiot?
Why doesn’t he just save time and mount a NAVY SEALS neon-billboard on his ball head, lest we should ever do the unforgiveable, and forget that he is a tough guy. A real rough and tough guy.

Why did they dig up Peter Boyle?
Well he certainly got his brain from “Abbie Normal.”
Excellent!
Didn't Jesse Ventura use to be someone?
Why is this moron be given any time? Who cares what he thinks. Plus, he spends most of his time in Mexico, which shows how much he loves our country. Sure wish someone would destroy his passport. His record pales in comparion to great men like President Bush and VP Cheney.
I had the honor of meeting the VP, and he is amazing!
“Now listen carefully, put the candle back.”
How many "former Navy Seals" are fans of Fidel Castro? Ventura is a disgrace.
Minnesotans oughta be ashamed :(
I heard him on some program, saying he lives in Mexico now. And he said how he uses solar energy and he’s living among such nice brown people, his words, in Mexico. He said he has no fear of the brown people, and we shouldn’t either.
I would love to know exactly where he lives. I bet it’s an upscale area. He’s not living in the equivalent of East LA among lovely brown people.
Jesse’s lost it.
Gitmo was like the Hanoi Hilton? Please Jesse, you insult every American soldier who endured that place.
Even John McCain must be especially offended by this, even though he (wrongly) opposes Gitmo.
One of two admitted steroid abusers elected governor.
Both pretended to be something other than their authentic selves.

Not hard to see why Jesse Ventura loves Fidel Castro.
Who cares what a balding, fat, washed up, know-nothing has-been thinks?
This is the same guy who thinks 9/11 was an inside job by the US government.
Poor Jessie. It looks like too much of his brain is above the timber-line. Oxygen and common sense is pretty scarce up there.
The lovely brown people cook his meals and clean his house for poverty wages.
This a__-tool also believes that 9/11 was an inside job by the Bush administration.
First Ventura, then Franken.
Minnessota, WTF is your problem?
Jesse Ventura - A legend in his own mind.
He was likewise the worst Minnesota Governor though, so he might have some insight into George Bush.
Ventura’s head has hit the deck too hard, too many times.
Are you absolutely certain that Jesse was a Seal? I was watching a tv show several years ago on which he was a guest. He was asked by the host if he actually was a Seal. He gave a very elusive answer. He even did a little puff and blow scene as though he was very offended to even be asked such a question. Anyway, not saying he was a Seal or was not a Seal. I am just saying that his response to the question on that tv show did not pass the duck test.
And CNN wonders why it’s ratings are in the toilet.
Lots of "brownskin" servants and no employer SS or medicare or other tax BS.
It just don't get no better than that.
Of course, it eliminates him from consideration to a cabinet position since he isn't a tax cheat.
But what the hey, he's got a nice bartender and cook for a buck a day.
Again
Have heard Jesse go into 9/11 Truther rants when interviewed.
A total TP loon.
Also he was based here in San Diego and debatable
if in fact he was a SEAL but UDT
It's NOT torture.
There are a number of people who held MOS's that were transferred to Special Forces, Seals and so on as those organizations were set up.
When "they were in" that MOS was in a regular line organization, or maybe something like UDT with a specific mission.
This can confuse others.
My own MOS was 11F40 (Infantry Scout) for a while. About two years after I was out of the Army that MOS was pulled out of regular Infantry and sent elsewhere ~ something considered much more macho I believe, with a gay beret!.
“I think Ventura suffered some brain damage during his wrestling career”
Metal chairs to the head!
I have read that he was a UDT, but the SEALs later merged with the UDTs and that allowed the UDTs to claim themselves as SEALs.
Jesse has had his head slammed into the mat a few too many times.
And if I recall correctly, he invoked his SEAL training as a determining factor to make that conclusion. The man is a f*cking joke, and I'd be willing to bet that most Navy veterans consider him an embarrassment, and wish he'd just STFU and go away...
Yep, you would think Minnesota would keep these two idiots tied up or up their dosage so they’ll sit quietly in the corner.
The only thing Jesse ever did that was OK was in the movie and even then he was a nut case. You gotta know Minn. State GOV is still trying to straighten out all the stupid stuff Jesse did when he was “the one” like nobama. If we are lucky “the one” will indicate term in office as it did for Jesse.
Could you elaborate on that last part.....
Apparently, Jesse still thinks he is politically relevant...not.
