WEST HOLLYWOOD, California – Mark Landon, an actor and eldest son of "Little House on the Prairie" star Michael Landon, was found dead Monday at his home. He was 60.

The cause of death was not immediately clear but there was no evidence of foul play, said Sgt. David Infante of the Los Angeles County sheriff's office.

Well, the truth is truthguy, we are ALL getting old. I’m a college student now and had a pair of shoes fall apart in class - they were loafers I bought about 20 plus years ago. One of the kids was laughing with me about it and I said, “These shoes are older than you honey.”

Reading the article, it said Michael Landon died in 1991 at age 54. That would have made him about 72 if he was still alive. Was Michael Landon a father at 12 years old? I doubt it. It looks like the writer of the article should have verified the dates.

Anyway, it is sad that both father and son are now gone.
