A lot depends on the venue. Haley Barbour was a regular on the Sunday morning talk shows....and was very effective. He knew his onions. Lawdy, we miss that man.

Steele seems to like appearing on off-beat radio talk shows....where it's easier for a less-than-effective communicator to slip up or get caught in traps. This isn't the first time Steele's been in trouble after a talk show.
