Washington Late in the morning on Thursday, April 30, three officials serving under President Barack Obama got on a telephone conference call with members of Congress and Capitol Hill staffers.
Steve LaTourette, a former Lake County prosecutor and current Republican lawmaker, was on the other end of that call. So, too, on another phone, was Dennis Kucinich, the Cleveland Democratic congressman who has built a career as a champion of the little guy. Staffers who help inform Sherrod Brown, a Yale graduate and Democratic U.S. senator, were on it. So were staffers for Sen. George Voinovich, a multi-decade Republican policy-maker and attorney.

Isn’t it amazing how the autoworkers (unions) vote overwhelmingly dim and later they lose their jobs. Wont be long until Michigan will look like it did in the movie “Robocop”.

Brown, and my local congressman-Tim Ryan are IDIOTS! They know nothing about business and had they known how to read an annual report they would have seen this day coming (and begun planning for it) years ago.
To: Texas resident
They just vote the way the unions tell them to.
I was amazed after working one election just how many people come in with the cards from the unions and would vote exactly what was sent to them....really sad

I’m stuned that the PD put this headline and story in the paper. I guess they are trying to hold on to the dozen or so subscribers who don’t like obie.

"Dennis Kucinich, the Cleveland Democratic congressman who has built a career as a champion of the little guy"
A very accurate statement.
If you define "champion of the little guy" as a man whose policies cause terrible hardships for working families, and then when the S inevitably HTF, Dennis shows up for his photo op to "save the day" where he spews his unintelligable socialist nonsense.
After which, he either leaves the mess for others to clean up, or intervenes and makes things even worse.
If that's what a "champion of the little guy" is, then Dennis is the poster boy.

(Those who say we "did nothing" about Bush's spending must have missed the 2006 election.)
