Obama Administration Considering Turning Over 100 Yemeni Gitmo Detainees to Saudi Arabia

This morning in Riyadh, Defense Secretary Robert Gates said he spoke to Saudi Assistant Minister of the Interior Muhammed bin Nayaf about sending the roughly 100 Yemeni detainees currently in the detainee center at Guantanamo Bay to Saudi Arabia to the Saudi government's rehabilitation program for jihadis.

I don’t know about this. I would think if I were a Gitmo terrorist, a Saudi prison would be the last place I would want to go to.

Remember, the Saudis have had their own problems with terrorists.

So Obama reauthorized Rendition again?

I thought he did that a couple of months ago. This must be the new and improved Hopey Changey Rendition.

And the Saudi’s will either let them go on the spot or execute them without trial. Though I complement his Zeroness on deftly passing all responsibility.
