Absolutely EXCELLENT, subversive idea you have there. Brilliant, in fact.

It could be a real grassroots pain in the ass for the Obama Administration for business people, who employ millions of Americans (and voters) to have company education programs making it very clear how Obama type programs will cause the company to have to lay them off. This will really piss off the whole of the American people against socialism.

At the very least it has to be an educative campaign, and I mean QUICK, over the next 6-9 months. Certainly the MSM and the White House will not educate the American people to these basic economic facts nor will our high schools nor colleges. It is up to the Presidents and Boards of companies to start these education campaigns within companies.

Thanks for the kind words!

I don’t know how to get the idea out there. Something like this may be one of the last avenues available to get some of these fundamental truths out to people who are more tuned in to American Idol, etc. and will probably never watch Fox, listen to Mark Levin, etc.

What would be nice is if some independent educational company could make a short video course explaining free market economics, how capital works, how economics policies really effect the economic environment, productivity, jobs, etc.

Frame the whole debate as “Freedom” vs. “Control” (free markets promote freedom & prosperity vs. bureauracies stifle freedom and just want to control people, creativity, etc., and bring everyone down to a lower economic level) Nothing too technical, just basic truthful principles in an entertaining format. Maybe start out with the idea mentioned on another thread of the college students proposing the grade sharing scheme. Make the initial point with that and then get into some of the basic theory.

Then maybe business managers could offer it as an after work class with some type of incentive for employees. This would need to be seen by everyone down to the secretaries & janitors!

Just some random thoughts. Maybe some other Freepers might have an idea on how to get this going.
