Is this the same flu as in 1976? At that time I had to take vaccine and many people were paralyzed and died from the vaccine. Got the flu and then pneumonia in 1976. Holy Moly! Hope it is not the same or I might have not problem since I have already been infected with it.

Different. That time they had a vaccine out in time to innoculate everyone so the number of cases (and therefore the death rate) were minimized. At the same time, as with any vaccine, some people died.

Did you know people died from smallpox vaccination? Do you think it was worth it for them to have died from the vaccination so that millions of others could live free of the disease?

These are difficult moral questions ~ comparing one pile of dead bodies with another.
