Hi, perhaps I posted this in the wrong area.
If I were to organize a letter-writing campaign to not only the U.S. Senators and Representatives, but also to the various state legislators, is there any kind of comprehensive list for this to which someone could point me? I think I've seen at least partial similar lists here on FR for certain issues.
The reason is this: I work as a medical transcriptionist (MT). There is an industry association, Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (formerly American Association for Medical Transcription) which is trying to make it mandatory for all MTs to obtain their credential and to be licensed by the states.
I am going to see what I can do to organize a letter-writing campaign against this, for many reasons.
There is also a newer trade organization, American Transcription Association ( http://www.ataus.org ) which is also anti-mandatory credentialing and licensing.
I am thinking that if I can present them with this information, they and I might be able to pull off a national letter-writing campaign (not enough time to do it all myself).
Thank you very much in advance for your help.
