The problem with global warming, some environmentalists believe, is “global warming.”

Instead of grim warnings about global warming, the firm advises, talk about “our deteriorating atmosphere.” Drop discussions of carbon dioxide and bring up “moving away from the dirty fuels of the past.” Don’t confuse people with cap and trade; use terms like “cap and cash back” or “pollution reduction refund.”

Asked about the summary, ecoAmerica’s president and founder, Robert M. Perkowitz, requested that it not be reported until the formal release of the firm’s full paper later this month, but acknowledged that its wide distribution now made compliance with his request unlikely.

Don't call Global Warming, "Global Warming"

When your lies aren’t working, come up with a new set of lies. But, never, never stop lying.

The so-called environmental crisis has evolved from a science question to a marketing problem. It has truly been completely politicized; there’s no science left.

Thanks xcamel. Did a search didn’t find it. Anyone else think the search here could be improved. ;-) Maybe I’m doing something wrong.

Excellent summary! May I use that? :-)

Global Warming is the only universally accepted religion of the left, and any non-believers will be smitten.

First, Global Cooling, then Global Warming, now Climate Change... all these terms still leave a big hole in their "science". To complete their coverage, they should coin and then use the term Global Climate Staying-the-Same.

No, this could be fun. Use the theasaurus...

"environmentalist" = "brain dead moron"

"environmental movement" = "communist subversion"

Say that DOES work better.

Doesn’t work with me. I instantly recognize this as the same tired old global warming BS no matter what verbage they choose to cloak it in.

The alarm bells go off immediately.

Kinda like when someone mentions a “special friend” or ‘partner”.

Search Instructions

  1. Go to the search page here. (You may want to bookmark that page.)
  2. Select a word from the article title that will be fairly unique. The uniqueness of the word will narrow the search. In this case this is easy since the title contains the word Thesaurus.
  3. Type the word in the search box.
  4. Click "order by relevance" and change it to "order by post time"
  5. Click the Search button

I saw a program on “history Channel” Friday night regarding the little ice age from the 1700’s - 1800’s and how it affected the Revolutionary War through the Napoleonic Wars and the brutal weather around the military campaigns.

Toward the end, I kid you not, the “climate scientists” actually said that global waring was responsible for the frigid temps and massive snow storms of that time.

They should all be held legally responsible for all the fraud they are perpetuating.

Exactly right. When you can't sell a pile of sh*t, call it "fertilizer".
