Ping!
Ok, this one I could support. I hate cutting the grass, just let it go to meadow. /s/
The Swiss! Now there’s a truly important nation, whose people have made countless contributions to mankind. Why, without them, we would be forced to muddle through life without Patek Phillipe watches and secret bank accounts! The HORROR!
Poblem is, that meadow can dry out and burn your house down!
Gotta love those secret bank accounts. We’re gonna need them when the bills for BO’s various “stimulus” plans come due!!!
I was being sarcastic. But if my house burns down think how much fossil fuel I will save but not heating and cooling. /s/
I should think you will use a lot more fossil fuels trying to heat or cool the space where your house once stood :o)
Unfortunately the Federal Government would assign it protected status as wetlands. This happened to a plot of land cut off from its natural drainage by a new road. The water pooled up, willows and tall grass grew and became protected lands.
This is satire. Right?
Its getting so hard to tell.
I have a racist lawn. Every time the dandelions try to integrate, I kill them.
If plants ever get such rights, I will cover all my ground with thick plastic sheets. That will probably get me sent to prison for a hate crime.
I want a time machine so I can go back to 1875. This is nuts.
Its only going to get worse with King Barry at the helm.
Here’s the link to the “Plants Rights” report cited in the article:

We have a city commissioner here in Portland who precedes this. He said trees have rights, too.
Of course we will need mosquito rights, bacteria rights, and virus rights. Then we can go to rock and dirt rights.
I warming to replacing my front lawn with astroturf.
Oh the humanity!!!
Dandelions?!! That's not racist. Its homophobic.
Last night, I water-boarded some potatoes.
