Is the new governor of KS a Republican?
We need to develop a “Rinomoter” to gauge the so-called Republicans and how they vote - to make it easier to spot the real RINOs in the herd!
Specter (R-PA)???
What time was the vote Call? Specter (R-PA)
Thus ends Bobby's deathbed conversion!
Screw the GOP!
SCREW THE GOP!!
R=RINO
Bond (R-MO)
Brownback (R-KS)
Collins (R-ME)
Gregg (R-NH)
Lugar (R-IN)
Roberts (R-KS)
Snowe (R-ME)
Specter (R-PA)
Voinovich (R-OH)
I make that list the Republicans who voted for her.
Remember this RAT!
Lt. Governor Mark Parkinson was picked by Sebelius for the Dem ticket. He will become Governor.
Sickening.
The clerk hasn’t gotten the message, apparently.
Mark Parkinson a Democrat who jumped parties from the Republican party in 2006 to be Sebelius’ running mate.
Bond (R-MO)
Brownback (R-KS)
Collins (R-ME)
Gregg (R-NH)
Lugar (R-IN)
Roberts (R-KS)
Snowe (R-ME)
Specter (R-PA)
Voinovich (R-OH)
RINO’s ALL.
I’m not surprised at the Democrats. But look at the Republican traitors going for political expediency.
Even McCain had the decency to vote no on this woman.
Yep.
even Lindsay Graham voted no.
Brownback’s not a RINO, just a coward in this case.
I don’t have his voting record in front of me, but it appears that he can usually be trusted to vote conservative.
Since Specter forced the issue, Voinivich, Snow, and the other RINOS should be expelled from the Republican Party. At least we will have a consistent message.
Wow. I should have looked through the Nay’s closer. I expected that dude would have betrayed us on this as well.
Thank you both!
Thank God I read your post! For a minute I thought Senator Vitter voted for her and I figured he was coming down with the flu or something. Thanks, I am relieved.
I get mail from Brownback all the time due to my Pro Life stand. It now goes directly into the paper shredder.
Francis
... and the usual suspects: Specter, Snowe, Collins, Voinovich, Lugar and Gregg
Sessions was a no vote, does that mean he was there?
Former Republican. He pulled a Specter about 6 years ago.
I suppose it’s a matter of courtesy to a fellow politician from Kansas. But he really, really should know better. This will cut his chief source of out-of-state funding right out from under him. Very disappointing.
Snowe is not seeking another term. People remember Collin’s votes years from now. She needs to go.
Sounds like a disease - maybe the aptly named “swine flu”.
How about labeling the party switchers as cretins stricken with “Rino Flu”?
Never waste a perfectly good Public Health Crisis...
He's already announced his retirement at the end of the term (2010.)
Oh, and the Sebelius replacement here in KS is a democrat too.
Or how about swine flew?
Good one!
Thanks to Corker and Alexander (Republicans from Tennessee for voting NAY)!
RINO virus...
Sessions missed both roll call votes today. I don’t know why.
Brownback was placed into a very tight spot, which would have required him to have gonads the size of cannonballs (and made of steel to boot) to navigate with a “NO” vote.
Imagine the great groundswell of “Kansas Pride” that their governor would be selected to be DHHS secretary.
Nevertheless, a true Statesman would have voted his conscience anyway, regardless of the political consequences of his decision.
Bond (R-MO)
Brownback (R-KS)
Collins (R-ME)
Gregg (R-NH)
Lugar (R-IN)
Roberts (R-KS)
Snowe (R-ME)
Specter (R-PA)
Voinovich (R-OH)
Everyone of you traitor dogs should take your soiled panties to the Dem side of the aisle. With FrankenFraud installed by judges and #1 Steeler Fan Spector already defected, we no longer need any of you. Go, cross the aisle where you belong. Take McStain with you! Go run in primaries against your own kind. You’ll be easier to beat.
I guess I just think the DHHS spot is a silly post and I wouldn’t care if my state’s governor got. (I do see your point, though.)
It does not surprise me about Collins, Gregg, Lugar Snowe, Specter and Voinovich, but what’s the deal on Bond, Brownback, Roberts.
I know Brownback and Roberts are both from Kansas, but good gosh stand on principle not because she is from Kansas.
Well, what do you know? My two Texas Senators voted in opposition to the baby killer.
I have lost all respect for Sam Brownback, a man I used to greatly admire.
I hope the good people of Kansas will make sure that Brownback’s days of public service will be over in 2010.
I’m very thankful that my two senators, Alexander and Corker voted NO.
RINOvirus infestation...
You have to look at his constituents...ie his voting block...he gets away with what he CAN get away with...and abortion loving politicians are a no no in his state.
I agree. Brownback’s whole reputation stands on his being pro-life. As a decent Catholic, I don’t know how he could square it with his conscience to support Sebelius. And as a politician, I don’t know how he can be so stupid about undermining his base.
And it’s not as if it’s just a token vote. Sebelius can do major damage in that position, directing funding away from real health care and toward the Culture of Death. Stem cells, euthanasia, RU-86, the morning after pill for minors without prescription; heavens knows what she’ll use that office for.
I only reposted the list from another post on the thread moron, and the people on the list voted in favor of the need Sec of DHHS.
She happens to be a radical pro-abortionist.
