Robert Fisk: How can you trust the cowardly BBC ?
NRO ^ | April 26, 2009 | Tom Gross

Those of us who follow mideast coverage closely have long observed that the BBC has one of the worst records when it comes to balance and objectivity. (See, for example, here, or here: Revealed: UNRWA spokesman who lied about Israel’s shelling of a school was previously a senior producer at the BBC.)

Last week, the independent BBC Trust (which oversees complaints to the British state broadcaster) finally admitted that BBC’s veteran Middle East Editor, Jeremy Bowen, had been biased against Israel.

The answer is...one can’t trust the BBC, nor NPR, nor PBS. They are all run and manned by a bunch of lefties.

They aren’t intersted in reporting news...only in driving their leftwing agenda.

I might have taken this seriously enough to read, had it not been written by Fisk, a documented liar and betrayer of Western Civilization.

The piece is a little confusing in its brefity. Bowen was criticized for being biased against Israel; Fisk complains that he wasn't biased enough. The last line makes it a little clearer:

As for Robert Fisk, he is one of the few journalists who can lay claim to repeatedly saying things as idiotic about the Middle East as New York Times columnist Roger Cohen.

Were it not for Fisk we'd never have known about the brilliant defense of Baghdad airport by the Iraqi army...uh...that never happened.

Anyone who's ever listened to Bowen's reporting could have figured that one out.

The left-wing media in the USA and abroad has been using their networks as a platform to promote their socialist agenda for many years. Lies! Lies! And, more Lies—along with biased coverage. What can we do to shut these people down? Let’s boycott and hope we hurt them financially. Fox News gives us the best coverage.
